Her practice areas include Consumer Class Action Litigation, Employment Litigation for Employees, including Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault and Battery, Wrongful Termination, Retaliation, Wage and Hour Issues and Misclassification of Employees as Independent Contractors.
She also serves as the 4th Vice President of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) and has been a member of its “President’s Club” since 2003. Lisa Maki is a member of AAJ’s Leader’s Forum and the Women’s Trial Lawyer Caucus
Lisa Maki was awarded the Orange County Trial Lawyers’ Association’s Employment Lawyer of the Year in 2006 and has been a “Super Lawyer” for the past five (5) years.
In 2007, Lisa Maki was awarded the Consumer Attorneys of California’s first ever “Street Fighter” award and was nominated as trial lawyer of the year by the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles
